Sur An Extraconsciouq Lucidity, Jacob Buczarski consolide son style et, par conséquent, cet album se démarque grâce à ses détails. Tout d'abord, la production est un peu plus distante qu'autrefois. La batterie est toujours aussi technique (vraiment, c'est une des plus grandes qualités de Mare Cognitum) mais son aspect mécanique est désormais indiscutable et, en l'occurrence, ça la rend moins terrestre. La guitare est stellaire. Mare Cognitum passe de black metal à black metal atmosphérique !
